Some New (better) Pics of the Skirmish at the Border

The Colonel Gerlach's Jagers say "no" to the Duchess' Christmas candy...Col.Gerlach is seen here on horseback just before being wounded by a "Grolsteingrenz" sharpshooter.

Gerlach's Jagers holding a hedged lane against the Duchess' Grenzers (the first painted unit of Bleiherzlanders....). Green coats w/ light green waistcoats. This correspondent is hooked...

  1. Lovely figures you have there. Your paintwork on those jaegers is especially pretty. . . and rather seasonal now that I think of it. ;-)

  5. The first photo in particular reminds me of various period paintings of battles. The look down the firing line, with the foliage and all looks really great.

  7. Yes those RSMs are really great figures. (the specific castings are (Dismounted Prussian Dragoons S5-016 from Dayton Painting Consortium)---I'm a true believer in RSMs and Dayton for keeping them in production!
